What are the benefits the Aha platform?

For content providers, a simple, single integration with the Aha platform offers the promise of extensive access across the automotive and in-home consumer electronics industries. Extending the reach of your content and ensuring exposure to the greatest possible audience.

The automotive market has proved extremely challenging for all but the largest content producers to penetrate. Navigating the complex requirements of automakers and consumer electronics manufacturers can be too complicated for many global providers. Aha removes the friction, enabling small and large providers alike to use existing RSS or API feeds, and little to no engineering development work, to distribute into hundreds of thousands of vehicles and in-home appliances automatically.

There is no additional work or code to put into existing mobile applications, and no requirements to create individual solutions for each automaker or consumer electronics manufacturer.

The Aha platform also includes 24/7 monitoring of all content sources to ensure the expectations of “automotive-grade” service are achieved. Aha can notify content providers of source issues as they happen, and can work with providers to restore content quickly, so the consumers that love and enjoy your content can enjoy a seamless experience in-vehicle or in-home.

The Aha platform already offers an expansive array of web content that customers enjoy, including:

  • Social Media Integration (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Internet radio stations & music services
  • News, sports, talk, social, and comedy podcasts
  • Real-time, customized, traffic reports
  • Location-based search for restaurants, coffee, etc.
  • And much, much more…
Which devices is Aha available on?

The Aha service is available through apps for iOS and Android, and the first automotive hardware integration was launched at CES 2011 in Pioneer’s AVIC-X930BT and AVIC-Z130BT aftermarket in-dash navigation systems (available now). Additional factory-installed automotive OEM integrations with Subaru and Honda are expected in the near future, along with more aftermarket systems from Kenwood.
